Tahini & Honey, Banana fruit toast

This is another Saturday breakfast treat, where after a long week chomping on the ever practical delight that is cornflakes, you are craving something different and delicious.

This is essentially a posh version of the American favorite peanut butter & jelly, that balances the nutty almost bitter flavour with sweetness. While I do genuinely love the aforementioned US treat, this makes for a fresher, more interesting indulgence.

I am pretty sure that I may have to get into the Tahini business,  where sesame seeds quadruple in value for changing from its solid state; but hey, I guess that is the price for laziness.  Tahini is a versatile store cupboard staple however, that is both fit for savoury, and sweet dishes. Whether rustling up some Hummus or just spreading on toast like here, it is always worth having on hand.

Serve with a cup of tea in your favourite mug, and enjoy.

You will need the following:

Toast:
1 Loaf of something fancy, this was mde with some Pumpkin seed bread

Fruit:
Bananas
Pommegranates
A mixture of whatever you can get: Blueberries, Raspberries for example

Topping:
Tahini
Honey

Method:
1. Toast Bread, and spread with Tahini
2. Top with sliced Banana and then the rest of your fruit
3. Drizzle over honey
